Leslie Ferdinand

The month of August holds quite a lot of significance for Leslie Christine Ferdinand, founder and editor-in-chief of Inside Rose Rich Magazine. She was born in August, engaged and married in August, gave birth to her oldest and youngest daughters in August and divorced in August. And guess what? Her first book, a time-travel called A Time For Us, debuted in August 1998.

Cyndia Rodriguez

Sales Associate

Cyndia is a resident of Richmond since her move from the Houston area in 1992. She and her husband have 4 children: Taylor, Mason, Connor, and Miranda. Since 1999, she has been a certified YMCA Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, launched the the Zumba Program at the TW Davis YMCA and is Zumba Gold certified as well. Cyndia is active in supporting the community, raised over $1200 in two bike marathons for MS, and led the Zumba Bash / Red Cross "Hurricane Ike Relief Fund". Along with raising her kids, participating in community events, and leading fitness and Zumba classes at the TW Davis YMCA in Richmond, Cyndia enjoys selling ads for Inside Rose Rich Magazine.

Tom is a 27-year resident of Rosenberg, a member of MENSA, a Sponsor of the Fort Bend County Women's Shelter, a supporter of the George H. Bush Presidential Library Foundation, a member, WCJC Advisory Committee on Continuing Education, and a proud member of New Covenant Church in Rosenberg. In 2008, he was awarded the Rose-Rich Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year.

Although Ms. Martin grew up most of her life in Houston, six years ago she and her husband moved to Fort Bend County. She found Richmond to provide the comfort and security of small town life, while still having the access to the big city.

After working in manufacturing management and quality for a turbomachinery company, and as a quality consultant and product manager in banking, Diane moved to Texas in 1990 to direct quality improvement for a mutual fund company. She later worked as a vice president of customer service and quality for a national staffing company.

Kim has been publishing book reviews on the Web since 2001, mostly in science-fiction and epic fantasy. Kim (also known as KC, pronounced Casey), reads in the arenas of action/adventure, romance, westerns, mystery, history, and more--heck, she just loves reading! She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Texas Woman's University and years of experience working as an RN. Her current day-job is General Manager and Co-Owner of Best Septic Tank Cleaning here in Rosenberg. Kim wants a future as a novelist. Her first published novel, REINS OF TIME, was released last winter (available at wildchildpublications.com). She also contributes to Inside Rose Rich Magazine as the book reviewer.

Katey Arnold

Graphic Designer

Katey is originally from California and moved to Texas in 2002. Her heart was split between the West Coast and the Lone Star State, so she moved back and forth for a handful of years. Katey now has her feet planted firmly on Texas soil. She discovered her love of print layout during her high school years as the yearbook editor. Katey earned her Associate's Degree in graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Design and Visual Arts at the University of Houston. She has shared her graphic design talents with private industry employers as well as a public agency. After the birth of her twin daughters, Katey made the decision to combine motherhood with career and developed a business as a freelance graphic designer. Katey, her husband, Rob, and their daughters, Cora and Hanna, reside in League City.
